The Best Spider-Man Game

The undisputed best Spider-Man game that has ever been created is Marvel’s Spider-Man from Insomniac Games released in 2018 for the PS4 and later PC and PS5. This game is a masterpiece in every department from gameplay, to story, to graphics, to features this game genuinely has it all. Every complaint and minor bug that has ever been in a Spider-Man game was fully fixed. Each Spider-Man game up until now had it’s own unique feature that made it good, but never had a Spider-Man game excelled in the way this one did. The swinging and open world is flawless, the combat and gadget system is masterful, the story is exhilarating and hart wrenching. I genuinely cannot recommend a game more than this one. I had been looking forward to it since the original E3 announcement in 2016, and two years later it did not disappoint. This game is easily the best Spider-Man game as it’s not even a contest, and the only game that will hopefully top this is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Longest Running Spider-Man Cartoon

It is hard to choose the best Spider-Man cartoon but there are two that stand above the others, and those are Spider-Man The Animated Series (1994) as well as Spectacular Spider-Man (2008). Spider-Man TAS is the longest running Spider-Man Cartoon there has been, and because of its length was able to tackle some great storylines. The series had long episodic runs of one continuous story before tackling another story, like doing the Secret Wars arc, as well as one of the first incarnations of the Spider-Verse. It is overall a great show, but Spectacular had an overall great run the entire series. It is shorter and was unfortunately cancelled too early because of copyrights moving from Sony to Disney, but this series had one long continuous arc in high school, different to the prior series, that left a lot of room for all of the characters to grow overtime. We get to see Peter’s evolve overtime as well as his love life going through multiple girlfriends, and it is all very interesting to watch. It is unfortunate the show was cancelled early as the show had immense potential. Each show had a great theme song as well, take a listen and leave a comment which cartoon has been your favorite!

Favorite Spider-Man Movie

My Favorite Spider-Man Movie is Spider-Man No Way Home because it finally brought all three live action Spider-Men together. Do I think it’s the best?… No, personally it is a very close match between Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. I would encourage everyone to watch them all and form their own opinion as well as learn more about the character.

Personally my favorite actor to play Spider-Man is Andrew Garfield, even though he did not have the best movies, he played the wall-crawler more accurately in costume than any of the other ones. Here is an important clip of him announcing his hiring of the role and how much it meant to him:

Why Spider-Man is important to me

Spider-Man has always inspired me since I was a little kid. I feel that a character that always stands up for what’s right no matter how bad things may be for himself, is the ultimate symbol of good and having kindness in your heart. That’s where his saying comes from as anybody with the power to do something good for someone, should become their responsibility to perform that action.
